Canberra City Evening Club
The Canberra City Evening Rostrum Club is a terrific place to practice your public speaking and communication skills. We meet in a friendly environment where you will be provided with opportunities to debate, conduct impromptus and prepared speeches. You can also get the opportunity to chair meetings and receive feedback. We have a variety of members from young professionals to retired long term members who are active in the community in the public speaking arena.
There are two groups within the club meeting at different times and dates –
MONDAY GROUP meets on alternative Mondays at the Canberra Labor Club, 51 Chandler Street, Belconnen. Meetings start at 7.10 pm
WEDNESDAY GROUP meets every second Wednesday at the Canberra Labor Club, 51 Chandler Street, Belconnen. Meetings start at 6.45 pm
